Meet Max

Max was your typical Kronie and a dedicated member of the Universal Defiance. Being a part of the first Chaos on American soil was an honor, but even bigger was being on the pre-wave team: an elite group of Kronies tasked to secretly infiltrate All-Mark before the commotion and set the stage for the Defiance. Max was beyond thrilled to embark on his quest to change history; however, when a personal side mission threatens his focus, Max must pull off the impossible in order to get everyone out safely.

Why Max?

There are several reasons I wanted Max to be the next book released in the Chaos series. First, I want the reader to get used to other perspectives besides Eve’s. This will be important in the upcoming books. Second, I wanted to give more background information on the Kronies: what was it like to go on a Chaos attack, how did they escape, what is life like in the Asylum, etc. Lastly, (and my favorite), I want the reader to see that so many details in Eve’s story have a purpose behind them. The butterfly effect is alive and well in the pages, and you will get to see some of that in Max’s story.

When will Eve’s story continue?

After Max is released, I will be able to get back to Eve’s story. I already have a full storyboard in my mind, but getting the story typed out is a whole other beast to tackle. I’m excited about her future as well as other characters’ roles in the coming days of Chaos. I will give you updates along the way, but I hope Max will hold you over for now.
